One of the hardest parts of starting a Masters is trying to pin down exactly what you want to study. I saw the extensive Arnaud Maggs exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada this summer, and it certainly inspired some ideas for a research topic.

I found his series of photographs of envelopes from Parisian flea markets to be extraordinary. The envelopes are meticulously collected, documented, even archived in a way, and then subsequently displayed, which points to an urge to collect.

In love with this series of photographs (Shows) by Arnhel de Serra depicting the often forgotten, or purposely avoided, world of country shows and specialty fairs.
